General Information/Description: All students at Cherry Run participate in General Music class. General Music includes singing, playing classroom percussion and recorder (grades 3-6), movement/dance, music literacy, and historical and cultural connections. Students in grades 5 and 6 are welcome to participate in the school chorus program during the school day. Students in grades 4-6 may participate in the strings program while students in grades 5 and 6 may participate in band. Band and strings are taught during the school day.
